For a bolt on guitar this sure did take some time.

This project was a vision based on #12.

The whole guitar is burled maple and bubinga (a species of African Rosewood)

These pics are from my phone because my camera broke.

I should have some new pics soon.

f-hole light off

The rear cavity covers are cut from the actual peice of wood that caps the rear. The grain patterns all line up. I compensated for the amount of wood the saw took out by putting black binding around the covers.

The black round button is to turn on the f-hole leds.

The cream plastic nut is temporary. Also, the vinyl decal headstock logo didn't adhere to the oiled finish, so it looks like i'm going to have to inlay one...gulp.

- neck

- fretboard

- trussrod cover

- toggle switch cap

- upper pickup rings

- tailpiece

- inlay inside the f-hole

and of course the black:

- fretboard binding

- all hardware

- neck laminations

- lower pickup rings

- nut (soon)

- under pickup covers

The volume knob for the neck humbucker has an active chromatic tuner.
